Although Café Zoo is situated very centrally in Windhoek, you can feel the calm atmosphere, when visiting this cosy and lovely outlet. The Hertz-family had been in Namibia before, but decided to buy Café Zoo in October 2005. One month later, Andreas joined the Windhoek team as Managing Director..  And since they are the only restaurant which is open on every Sunday and Holidays, they never looked back. There are 18 seats in the restaurant, with another 50 seats available outside on the terrace ans 10 on a verandah. A real attraction is the Cocktail Bar - and the fact that Café Zoo is opened until 21h00 each evening.
Café Zoo offers a great variety of Breakfast, light meals, soups, main coursesand desserts. Add to these the beverages and special Wines, and you are in for a remarkable meal.
But to come to the Pizza’s: With winter around the corner, this might be the real treat during the next months. Already one may chose from 12 different specialities - and you can even mix your own toppings. Further Specials will be offered soon, but a glance on the menu easily turns into a mouthwatering experience. To mention a few: Margherita, Salami, Regina, Primavera, Autun-no, Prosciutto di Parma, Quattro Formaggi, Pollo, Grecia or Calzone are all but nice sounding names...
