As part of the Swakopmund Municipal’s response to World Environment Day on 05 June 2007, a cleaning campaign of Mondesa will be undertaken from 05 – 08 June 2007 under the theme: ”Mondesa Says NO to Rubbish – Keep Mondesa Clean”.
In order to make this cleaning up campaign a success, residents of Mondesa are kindly requested to bring all unwanted rubbish to any open space in Mondesa from Monday, 04 June 2007.
Unwanted car wrecks can be reported to the Health Department and it would be removed at no cost to the residents.
However, in order to ensure success of this campaign, the community of specifically Mondesa are invited to volunteer their services in ensuring that Mondesa is cleaned properly.
