Trampoline & Tumbling Competition at SKW

On the 7th of July 2007 SKW Gymnastics Academy successfully hosted the 2nd NGF Qualifying Competition of the year for trampoline and tumbling.
About 60 gymnasts from Walvis Bay Gymnastics Club, Intendo and SKW Gymnastics Academy took part in this event.
The competition included tumbling, mini-trampoline, double-mini trampoline and trampoline in different performance levels and age groups. Some of the gymnasts had a very successful day and walked home with two gold medals such as Jivanka Kruger and Valentina di Savino from Intendo, Ane Rautenbach from WBGC as well as Kayleen Green, Marietta Kuivanen, Angus Weich, Nquaiko Kaperu and Riz Zimmermann from SKW Gymnastics Academy.
The most successful club was Walvis Bay Gymnastics Club with 16 gold medals, followed by SKW Gymnastics Academy with 15 and Intendo with 3 gold medals.
Highlight of the day was the 15 year old Carel-David Rautenbach (WBGC). He showed an excellent voluntary routine on the trampoline with the highest degree of difficulty ever performed in Namibia (11.5) and was rewarded with the highest score of the competition.
