Goju Ryu Karate presented its 2003 national winter training camp (Gasshuku) in Windhoek during the last weekend of June. More than 150 students from all over Namibia participated in this event.

Sensei Bakkies Laubscher, 7th Dan Black Belt of South Africa, presented the training camp. He is one of the most senior instructors in the International Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Federation. He just returned from a month-long visit to Europe where he presented training camps in 5 countries. Namibia karate students are really privileged to receive tuition from such a world-renowned senior instructor.
