The Henties Bay Tourism Association presents the 6th Fish Festival this year during the long weekend on 24 & 25 August.
The aim is as always to attract visitors from all over Namibia to visit Henties Bay at a traditional quiet time of the year.  This proved to be very successful over the past 5 years and never is a Fish Festival weekend quiet any more!  We manage to attract more visitors each year, even from South Africa.
Every year more role-players come aboard and last year a cycling competition was introduced, a first for Henties Bay, while the very popular and well-known annual Henties Bay Rally will be added to the program this year.
The daily activities will be centered in and around the tent in front of the Community Hall and will be open to the public.  The entertainment for the evenings will be in the tent at the Henties Bay Sport Club where entrance fees are payable:  Adults - N$70.00pp. per evening and children under 12 - N$30.00pp. per evening.

Friday, 24 August
Street festival with numerous stalls and street cafes presenting all kinds of interesting items, sea food dishes and lots more.
Entertainment in the Day tent
Freddie Mong from early until about 17:00
Various games and competitions will be held in the Day tent.
