Old Mutual group concluded its own BEE transaction in Namibia, which is to benefit 250 000 Namibians through the deal that includes, employees, trade unions, women and church groups.  The BEE transaction, the listing and ATM inauguration at Okongo
all signal Nedbank’s commitment to Namibia and its growth and development.  The ATM inauguration represents an investment of half a million Namibia dollars in the building and the machine, and is part of a multi-million, wide ranging expansion programme, with a particular focus on a greater footprint in our northern regions..

Esra Kaushiningwa (left) and his brother are delighted that the Nedbank ATM is now working in Okongo. Previously they had to find someone to travel to Eenhana, over 100km away, to draw or deposit money for them. The road is bad and it takes a working day to do a simple transaction.
