The Inline Hockey Club “Coastal Pirates” in Swakopmund is once again supporting the sporting talent of a groupf of children at ACE school in Mondesa. The school is well known for taking in orphans, homeless kids and children with a poor social background.
Once a week, every Thursday afternoon, between 12 and 16 children get picked up here and driven to the Inline Hockey Rink.  After putting on the clubs own skates and protective gear, the trainer of the Coastal Pirates, Nate Blair, then  teaches the children lovingly and with lots of fun and laughter how to master the art of skating on wheels.
To see their bright smiles and sparkling eyes, once they have mastered to skate on their own, is the greatest reward for the coach.
At the Inline Hockey Support Tournament in October this year they will be able to show off  their newly learned skills.
This years biggest Inline Hockey Tournament will take place on the 24th to the 27th ofAugust at the Inline Hockey Rink of the Coastal Pirates in Swakopmund.
