Record Breaking Price set at Central Select Auction - N$ 124 000 paid for Simbra Bul
During the Central Select Bull & Female Auction held by Agra at the Agra/Standard Bank Ring this week, new record price were recorded for a Simbra bull.
A new Namibian and Southern African record was set when Falcon Conser-vation Trust of Thabazimbi in South Africa paid N$124 000 for a Simbra bull from the Kamab Simbra Stud of Diethelm Metzger of Windhoek.  According to Agra’s Kiep Lepen, Manager Stud Services, the breed is of exceptional high quality, which was proven by the record price obtained.  A number of South African buyers were present at the auction and had the opportunity to buy bulls of a very high standard.

Diethelm Metzger’s Kamab Simbra Stud is well known for the various championships they have won with bulls, cows and heifers of exceptional quality.
