Erongo fibre network upgrade to improve service delivery to customers
Telecom Namibia on Saturday, 22nd September 2007, from 22h00 until midnight 00:01, will carry out fibre optic network upgrade work between the Arandis, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay exchanges.
The fibre upgrade work will affect all fixed-line, mobile and data telecommunication services at Arandis, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and Henties Bay.
Customers with fixed and mobile telephones in these towns will not be able to make or receive calls during this period of interruption.
Any complaints or problems that these customers might experience after the planned services interruption should be reported to our Customer Service Centre at 1155.
