Namutoni Camp closed for Launch of Centenary Saturday 22nd of September 2007 On the 28th September 2007, Namutoni will be hosting the official launch of the Etosha Centenary, by His Excellency Hifikepunye Po-hamba, President of the Republic of Namibia, in the presence of His Excellency Dr Sam Nujoma, Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation, and a number of other local and international dignitaries. back NWR wishes to inform the travel trade that during the period 27 – 29 September 2007, Namutoni camp will be closed to the general traveling public. Visitors to Etosha will still be able to enter the Etosha National Park including Okaukuejo and Halali, but will be unable to enter the Namutoni Camp to obtain petrol, drinks, meals or any other supplies or services, and should therefore make the necessary arrangements to ensure that they are able to reach their destination in comfort. Namibia Wildlife Resorts further wishes to inform its valued customers that during these cele-brations, NWR Central Reservation Office, will be operating on limited capacity to the public on 27 and 28 September 2007. NWR wishes to acknowledge your support and apologizes for any incon-venience, and trust that you will join us in congratulating the Namibian Nation on this considerable achieve-ment in biodiversity conservation and tourism. |
