A 28 member team of the Namibian Gymnastics Federation NGF will take part in the South African National Championships in Rhythmic Gym-nastics from the 3rd to the 6th of October 2007 in Pretoria.
The gymnasts of the Levels 4 – 8 qualified for the NGF team at the First National Bank Qualifying Competition that was held in Windhoek in July. Furthermore three groups were selected, namely the Free Dance and Hoop Groups from SKW Gymnastics Academy as well as the Ball Group from Walvis Bay.
The NGF team consists of 17 rhythmic gymnasts from SKW Gymnastics Academy, 7 from Walvis Bay and 3 from Tsumeb.
The next event and highlight on the national events calendar for this year is the National Championship for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline and Tumbling on the 18th and 19th of October 2007 in Walvis Bay.
