New PLUS on 2 November

PLUS
PLUS needs a break!
That is what the dovtor ordered! So we will take two weeks off - and re-appear on the streets of Namibia on 2 November. From this date onwards, we will slowly but surely develop into a better weekly. This can not happen without the further loyal support of our advertisers, because the concept of a weekly newspaper free of charge will not change! For more than twelve  years you have supported us - and we want to thank you from the depth of our heart! Please stay loyal to the „new PLUS “!
Where the contents and lay-out of PLUS  is concerned, we have identified new subjects which definitely have to be covered in Namibia! There are questions and answers which certainly have to be discussed in Namibian society, besides the regular columns like readers letters, economy, farmer news, politics (yes, Politics, too!).
We want to provide a service which is soon to be „second to none“. But you, the valued reader, will not be shocked by a drastic change. We will gradually become a leader and an example for others to follow.
Certain structures have to be changed. A thorough analysis was done - and in some sectors of our newspaper-world is still going on. But we may dare to say: You will be satisfied with the new concept!
One of the long-term aims is to co-operate with some other media institutions. The changes could involve great surprises to some readers, but we want to make sure that advertisers are satisfied. This means that we will create new possibilities for them to develop new markets. In English, Afrikaans and German.
Too many promises? No ways!
But to put the results of our analyses into reality and to create „the new PLUS“ practically, will mean that we need a short break - to come back with new energy and zest.
Please bear with us - and be assured that we are around after 2 November - in all centres of Namibia!
