A 28 member team of the Namibian Gymnastics Federation NGF took part in the South African National Cham-pionships in Rhythmic Gymnastics from the 3rd to the 6th of October 2007 in Pretoria - with overwhelming success.
Never before could Namibian gym-nasts of the performance levels 4 – 8 achieve such a lot of overall medals in SA Nationals as this year, namely three gold medals, one silver and two bronze medals.  All the medals were won by gymnasts of SKW Gymnastics Academy. Another gold medal went to the Ball Group of Walvis Bay Gymnastics Club WBGC. Further medals could be won for routines with a certain apparatus.
From 25 – 28 September the SA Nationals for Trampoline and Tumbling took place. The two most successful participants from SKW Gymnastics Academy were Kaylee Green with a gold medal in tumbling/Level 3 and a silver medal in mini-trampoline as well as Nguaiko Kaperu with a gold medal in mini-trampoline.
The next event and highlight on the national events calendar for this year is the National Championship for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline and Tumbling on the 18th and 19th of October 2007 in Walvis Bay.
