Telecom Namibia inaugurates multi-million Contact Centre

Telecom Namibia officially launched its new state-of-the-art Contact Centre in Windhoek on Friday, 11 July 2008.
Combining Telecom’s reputation for excellence in customer care with a state-of-the-art Contact Centre platform from Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, this new facility is equipped to handle current, upcoming and future customer care business.
The new Telecom Namibia Contact Centre has capabilities for inbound and outbound customer care, email response management, IVR and integrated training and customer management software. Additional features include enhanced security for customer privacy, and an integrated quality assurance and evaluation process.
Information and Communication Technology Minister, Hon Joel Kaapanda, officiated at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The new Contact Centre is located near the Telecom Namibia Stores in Voigts Street, Southern Industrial District, Windhoek.
