The Namibia Agricultural Union (NAU) took with regret note of the death of Dr Otto Hübschle on Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Dr Hübschle was admitted to a hospital in Paris, France about a month ago with a serious heart condition. He was in the ICU station the past month where he should have a heart transplant.
Dr Hübschle was the Director of Veterinary Services of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry. The NAU and Livestock Producers Organisation (LPO) had a good relationship with Dr Hübschle and he always was willing to listen to the problems of the farmers.
The NAU expresses its deepest sympathy with the family.
