Friday 25th of July 2003 The Namibia Basketball Federation will for the first time in history compete on international level after an invi-tation from the Zambian counterpart. The association is busy selecting players from league matches being played every weekend at UN Plaza in Katutura and final selection will be announced by next week. The team will leave for Zambia on 2 August. Results of the League last weekend were: Women: Polytechnic - Unam Wildcats 61-55 Racers - Tomahawks 26-70 Men: Mighty Sonic - Mistakes 75-61 Unam Stormers - Tomahawks 20-90 Hornets - African Kings 59-69 Desert Storm - Unam Rebels 66-59 Desert Storm - African King 52-51 |
