WINDHOEK OPTICS RAMBLERS The premier league squad has resumed training this week and is preparing for the 2003/4 season that will kick off on 6 September 2003. We would like to welcome Dawid "Fellah" Snewe who has been appointed as new head coach and wish him lot’s of success with us. He will be assisted by Tollie van Wyk, a former Ramblers player.

A big thank you goes to Jorge da Purificacao who has been the head coach for the last eight months for a job well done. Jorge will now be the manager of the premier league side.

HOCKEY Our ladies drew 1:1 with DTS in a premier league match last weekend. Sonia Meyer scored for Ramblers. Also, our junior ladies team - Ramblers Smarties - drew all three matches last weekend: vs DTS 2:2, vs WOB 1:1 and WOB II 1:1. Goalscorers were Janneke Brink, Britta Haensel (2) and Michaela Neustädt. Well done!
