Former trade and industry minister Hidipo Hamutenya opened the incubation centre for small and medium entrepreneurs on Wednesday in Hans-Dietrich Genscher Street in Katutura. Emerging business people, called incubators, will receive training for 2 to 3 years in technical and business skills as well as marketing by professionals, while renting small outlets at the centre. The SME incubation centre was built as a joint effort from government, the City of Windhoek and the private sector with large contribuitions from major companies.
