Thursday 6th of March 2003 Statistical evidence suggests that unemployment in Namibia is between 30 and 45 per cent. This was said by Deputy Minister Hadino Hishongwa, who said that the ranks of job seekers are swelled by Grade 12 learners who can not ensure entry into tertiary education. Some 20 000 youngsters fail to attain the results needed to be admitted to universities and colleges each year.
