WINDHOEK OPTICS RAMBLERS Windhoek Optics Ramblers collected four points at the coast last weekend! On Saturday we drew 2-all against Eleven Arrows. Both goals were scored by goalgetter Costa Khaiseb.

The following day we beat current logleaders Blue Waters 2:1 in front their home crowd! This was the first defeat of Blue Waters for the season. Arend von Stryk and Victor Helu did the honours for Windhoek Optics Ramblers. Arend scored in his first official game for Ramblers and Victor scored with a beautiful long range effort. What a fine victory!

Congratulations to coaches Dawid Snewe and Tollie van Wyk and the entire team!!

Costa Khaiseb is still the leading goalscorer in the Premier League with 14 goals. Keep it up, Costa!

This weekend we play two games at home as follows:

Saturday, 15H00 Windhoek Optics Ramblers vs Oshakati City

Sunday, 14H00 Windhoek Optics Ramblers vs Benfica These are the final games of the first round. Good luck guys!!

WINDHOEK OPTICS LADIES

Our ladies will be partaking in the Top Score 5-a-side tournament that will start this coming Friday night. Their first game is scheduled for 20H45 against NBC. Good luck and have fun!! VIP

Ricardo Coelho claimed the jackpot of N$ 1200 last Friday night, congratulations!

This means that the Friday jackpot is now back to N$ 100. OLD BOYS

The mixed Volleyball team won all five preliminary matches in comfortable fashion before losing to Paco Engineering in the knock out stages.

Ramblers will now be competing annually in the DTS Volleyball for all tournament.

One team has been entered for the 7-a-side tournament in Otjiwarongo this weekend.

TOP SCORE

Sixty teams will be competing during the next ten weeks at Ramblers in the popular Top Score 7-a-side and 5-a-side tournament. We want to welcome all participating teams and wish them lot’s of fun!! Good luck to tournament organiser Jo Duwe.

RAMBLERS RESERVE TEAM We will start with a Ramblers Reserve team this year for all scholars over the age of sixteen years. Training will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17H00 to 18H30 at Ramblers and starts on 17 February!! The coach will be Richard Wahl.
