Cabinet Uses N$ 10 million On Farms

Monies from the Land Acquisition and Development Fund will be used for the development and improvement on farms bought for resettlement. In its latest Cabinet decision it was approved that N$ 10 million or 20 percent should be allocated towards the improvement of farming units in preparation for resettlement. The funds will be used for training if resettled people, repair, and installation of boreholes and repair and erection of internal fences on farms.

 

New Marketing Company Launched

A company, Virtual Marketing was launched in Windhoek this week. Thea Visser, its CEO said her company would be the one-stop marketing solution for clients. Some 80 professionals around the world do market research, design advertisements, and logos for Namibian companies, which would then be printed in Namibia, Visser said. Virtual marketing is based in Windhoek and has already appointed five marketing students from the Polytechnic. According to Visser, her company was appointed as official representative of the Cannes Lions Awards, which are advertising awards.
