The good news is, however, that Costa Khaiseb scored four goals in this match and became the Top Goalscorer of the Premier League with 29 goals. Well done, Costa - we are extremely proud of you.

Our team has ended the season in fourth position for the third year in succes-sion. Windhoek Optics Ramblers also won a silver medal in the inaugural Sam Nujoma Cup as well as a bronze medal in the MTC Cup.

Congratulations to coaches Dawid Snewe and Tollie van Wyk, manager Jorge da Purificacao and the entire team on a successful season!!

The team takes a well-deserved break of five weeks now.

Costa Khaiseb and goalkeeper Esau Tjiuoro flew to Pietermaritzburg in South Africa on 30 June where they are attending trials with Premier League outfit Dynamo Warriors. Good luck guys!!
