TRAISA / HARBACH Wir haben zur Zeit hohen Besuch aus Deutschland. Karl Kräther aus Harbach sowie Gerd Fraas, Reinhold und Karin Muth aus Traisa haben sich in dieser Wochen den Strapazen des Fischfluß-Canyons gestellt und wurden dabei von einigen Alten Herren und jüngeren Damen von Ramblers begleitet.

Am letzten Freitag gab es ein sehr geselliges Beisammensein im Klubhaus aller Wanderer des Fischfluß.

Wir hoffen sehr, daß alle diesen längeren Ausflug gut und heile überstanden haben und wünschen unseren Deutschlandgästen nur erholsame Tage während der restlichen Namibia-Tour.

Our Premier League Ladies won their first game in the National league last Saturday when they thrashed DTS 5:1! A hattrick by Christa Keyser and two goals by Silke Pennefather secured a well-deserved win.

The Ladies Second team have lost both matches to date, but are showing great potential. All our players are 16 years and younger and for most of them it is the first time that they play in the senior league. They lost to Rehoboth 0:2 and to DTS 1:5 with Birte Kersten scoring for Ramblers.

The following girls under 21 girls have been invited to trials for a tournament to be held in South Africa in September: Candice Coetzee, Janine Jansen, Andrea Mouton and Hybrie Hayes.

This weekend the following game will be played in the National league:

Saturday, 14H00: Mens Premier vs DTS

The final games of the six-a-side tournament will be played next Wednesday, 21 July at SKW at 18H30. Ramblers "A" are still top of the log whilst Ramblers "B" are trailing at the bottom of the log.

Please also note that the popular 5-a-side tournament will once again be held in Otavi on 31 July / 1 August. There will be an under 40 and an over 40 division. VIP CLUB

Joseph Martin was not at the Club last Friday night to claim the N$ 400 at stake.

The weekly jackpot for this Friday climbs to N$ 500 accordingly.
