Friday 30th of July 2004 Namibian farmers who sold their cattle and small stock under the Government’s marketing incentive scheme in 2003 to avoid the impact of the drought, will receive their subsidies of N$ 200 per large stock unit and N$ 50 per goat or sheep.. The subsidies were supposed to be paid in February, but Government had only budgeted N$ 24.8 million instead of the real price of N$ 33 million.as from 9 August. PS Kahuure denied that there was a shortage of funds. |
