Namibian farmers who sold their cattle and small stock under the Government’s marketing incentive scheme in 2003 to avoid the impact of the drought, will receive their subsidies of N$ 200 per large stock unit and N$ 50 per goat or sheep.. The subsidies were supposed to be paid in February, but Government had only budgeted N$ 24.8 million instead of the real price of N$ 33 million.as from 9 August.

PS Kahuure denied that there was a shortage of funds.
